Airmyn’s bowlers earn superb double success

Airmyn Riverside C have been crowned league champions.

The team clinched the title after securing one point with a 17-all draw, during the final against the Jemmy First Four on Friday, September 3. The claim was reliant on a simultaneous match between Pollington and Fishlake which also resulted in a draw. Airmyn Riverside Friday Fours took on Airmyn in a separate match, ending in a 12-all draw, and resulting in Airmyn gaining promotion to the Division A of the Goole and District League. Local runners medal at County Championship

Goole Youth Athletics Club scooped eight medals at the Humberside County Athletics Championship. The event was held at Grimsby’s King George V Stadium on Sunday, August 22. Natalie Walsh won two gold medals in the U17 women’s 100m with 13.97 and the 200m in 28.45.
